Traditional climbing embodies the essence of independent climbing. At its core, it involves beginning at the base and ascending a rock face, installing fall protection as you progress. This demands complete trust in your equipment, including knowing where and how to secure it in the rock. In this clinic, we emphasize the efficient use of various gear types. You'll practice placing cams, nuts, and other removable protection. Additionally, you'll learn and practice multiple techniques for connecting individual pieces of protection to form multi-point anchors.
