Taylor's Falls, or Interstate State Park, is located on the border of Wisconsin and Minnesota along the St. Croix River. Rock climbing at Interstate State Park is perfect for all climbing skills–whether it's your first time climbing outdoors or you've been trad climbing across the globe for the last forty years. We offer a variety of services and courses here. The landscape provides excellent opportunities for an SPI course, a trad clinic, or a customized guide day tailored to your needs.

Devil's Lake

Devil's Lake State Park is located outside of Baraboo, WI, and with over a thousand classic routes to choose from throughout the park, climbing here will never be boring. The approaches are more often than not long and uphill, but the view of the lake while you're climbing is worth it. Devil's Lake is best for SPI courses, trad clinics, and customized guide days. Routes can be trickier at the Lake, but there is no shortage of beginner routes to start your climbing journey here!

North Shore

Tettegouche State Park is located along the shore of Lake Superior in Silver Bay, MN. The beauty of climbing over the lake is an unforgettable experience, and it's a great opportunity to work on your top-manage skills. In addition to Tettegouche, other locations we guide at the North Shore are Palisade Head, Ely's Peak, Silver Creek Tunnel, Section 13, and Carlton's Peak. With so many places and beautiful scenery, we can offer all of our outdoor courses as well as customized guide days here.

Necedah

Necedah is an excellent place to work on your sport climbing and trad climbing skills. Located in central Wisconsin, it's an easy location to reach with an even easier approach to the crag. Whether you're wanting to get out and practice your skills or fine-tune every aspect of your sport and/or trad climbing, Necedah has plenty of climbs for beginning sport climbers and some epic projects for those with more experience. We can only guide sport/trad days and teach SCI courses here.

Red Wing

Red Wing, MN is located along the Minnesota and Wisconsin border south of the Twin Cities. Barn Bluff, or He Mni Can, is known for its sport climbing. A quick day trip from the Twin Cities, we are happy to work on any and all things sport climbing at this location. From organization, techniques, and anchor systems, Red Wing has plenty of climbs to perfect your sport climbing skills. We can only guide here for custom guide days and SCI course.

Sandstone

Sandstone Ice Park (or Robinson Park) is located halfway between Minneapolis and Duluth. There are multiple ranges for how tall the climbs are, as well as opportunities to work on your mixed climbing. Farming of the ice usually starts early winter when temperatures are cold enough, and the season typically lasts through March. It's a great place to climb for all things ice, whether you want to get out for the day or work on your technique.

Horseshoe Canyon Ranch

Horseshoe Canyon Ranch is located down in Jasper, AK. It may be a bit of a hike from our central midwest location, but the amount of climbing and opportunities here make it worth it. HCR is a great place for an SPI course or an SCI course, and the grade range makes it a great place for sport climbers with any level of experience. Due to HCR being a farther location, we do not guide here on a regular basis, but we are always open to scheduling a course here!

If there are other climbing locations in the midwest you know of and are interested in climbing at, we are happy to chat more!
