About the event
These courses are tailored for climbers who wish to learn how to construct anchors for their own recreational climbing adventures. Completing this course marks your initial step toward independent climbing and provides a solid foundation for outdoor climbing. The instructors for these courses are either professional Course Providers or Single Pitch Climbing Instructors certified by the Professional Climbing Instructor Association (PCIA). They will adapt to your individual learning styles to teach you the use of natural anchors (Level I) and artificial protection (Level II). Personal safety and a hands-on learning approach will be emphasized throughout the class.
