Introduction to Climbing Interstate Park

All great journeys begin with a single step…in rock climbing it is just in the upward direction. This course serves as an introduction to climbing. You'll learn basic knots, equipment, belaying, safety, climbing movement, rope handling, as well as the class and grade system used to rate the difficulty of routes. All equipment: ropes, shoes, harness and helmet will be provided and climbing will be age/skill level appropriate. You will also get to experience a variety of routes in a top rope environment.
