These courses are designed for the climber that wants to learn how to build anchors for his/her own recreational climbing experience. By completing this course, you are taking your first step toward independent climbing and will be gaining a great foundation for outdoor climbing.

About the event
These courses are designed for the climber that wants to learn how to build anchors for his/her own recreational climbing experience. By completing this course, you are taking your first step toward independent climbing and will be gaining a great foundation for outdoor climbing. The instructors for these courses are either professional Course Providers or Single Pitch Climbing Instructors through the Professional Climbing Instructor Association (PCIA). They will work with your individual learning styles to teach you how to utilize natural anchors (Level I) course and artificial protection (Level II) course. Personal safety and a hands-on approach to learning will be emphasized throughout this class.
