About the event

These courses are tailored for climbers who wish to learn how to build anchors for their own recreational climbing adventures. By completing this course, you will be taking your first step toward climbing independently and gaining a solid foundation for outdoor climbing. The instructors for these courses are either professional Course Providers or Single Pitch Climbing Instructors certified by the Professional Climbing Instructor Association (PCIA). They will adapt to your individual learning styles to teach you how to use natural anchors in the Level I course and artificial protection in the Level II course. Personal safety and a hands-on learning approach will be emphasized throughout the class.
